Esteemed Senior-Scribe Repello,

I have been conducting routine data quality checks relating to personnel records.

I regret to inform you that an issue has arisen regarding the records of Adept-Scribe Pseudonym, who has recently been assigned to the service of Inquisitor Orland Thrass.



As I am sure you are aware, Adept-Scribe Pseudonym’s service in the Administratum has been unremarkable, confined primarily to collecting and maintaining data files on behalf of the Historical Revision Unit. His labours, like those of his forefathers, have been considered serviceable and uninspired, inviting neither promotion nor chastisement. Indeed, his recent induction into the retinue of the Esteemed Inquisitor Orland Thrass was considered somewhat surprising by those adepts tasked with administering the dispatch files, myself included.

However, in archiving these records, three alarming inconsistencies have arisen:

• Inquisitor Orland Thrass requested Adept-Scribe Pseudonym presence due to his knowledge concerning the incident in Arenxis Minoris. However, an examination of the records suggests that Pseudonym was not given clearance to access the relevant data sources until after his induction into Inquisitor Orland Thrass’ service. 
• Further investigation has suggested numerous minor inconstancies relating to Pseudonym’s activities: files have been dispatched and responded to at unfeasible intervals; records have been archived prior to being requested. Collectively, these issues suggest that Pseudonym’s data files have either been heavily corrupted or, in certain instances, fabricated entirely. 
• Most alarmingly, the request relating to the appointment of Pseudonym’s successor indicates that Adept-Scribe Pseudonym died in service three weeks prior to his appointment to Hive World Tarserus. Despite this, I have received confirmation from the Inquisitor’s offices suggesting that “Pseudonym” arrived without incident two days ago. 

It remains possible that these inconsistencies are the result of administrative errors, perhaps perpetrated by Adept-Scribe Pseudonym himself, but I am concerned they point towards something altogether more sinister. I therefore beg leave to request a full data audit on all files relating to Adept-Scribe Pseudonym and that my concerns are directed to Inquisitor Orland Thrass forthwith.
