Birthday Baneblade Bonanza!

So I just had my birthday, and happily some friends clubbed together to get me a present! How nice! Well aware of my chronic tank addiction, they've gone and picked me up something rather awesome: A baneblade!

Space Wolves - Old School Style

I decided to make a post to show that I'm not just bandwagon jumping by going for Space Wolves... Although to be honest, I think that bandwagon left the station long ago to be replaced by the Blood Angels Express. I painted these in the early 90's, when they first came out - I think I was about 12 or 13 - and they now live in my cabinet. And yes, those banners are cut out from White Dwarf...

OK so it's been a busy month! I was away for Christmas with the family, I had visitors coming to stay over the new year and with some tight deadlines at work it's meant that I haven't found the time for posting any blog entries in the last few weeks.
